Shall we really consider Vaastu compliance and is Vaastu compliance more important than horoscope?

This is an interesting question for most of us. Now days Vaastu compliance has become so important that everyone cares about it. It is surprising to also find out sometimes the focus being shifted from Astrology to Vaastu or fengshui.
The real question is, is Vaastu different from Astrology. As mentioned in Branches of Astrology blog. Astrology has a branch named Samhita. Varahamihira in his Bruhat Samhita has dedicated a chapter for Vaastu so an astrologer is supposed to know about Vaastu as well and of course Vaastu is a part of astrology.
In any horoscope 4th house is a house of land / home. Interestingly I found that people who have afflicted 4th house usually some Vaastu compliance issue. I have also found that people having very good 4th house usually have a compliant Vaastu. It is a good idea to check Vaastu compliance while buying a house or land.
In case, you already have a house, then there are many alternatives that can help you to make the compliant without actually changing the plan unless it is a major issue. The next question is how severe can be the effects of non-compliant house. To be frank, it is totally based on the actual issue in the house. I know a house which was touching to a temple and based on Vaastu, a shadow of a temple on house makes the owner vacate the house.  This was observed in that house after few years, even otherwise there was no peace in that house at all.
Sometimes people ask when in a building people on all floors have same plan, so if all of them going to face same problems. The answer of this question is No and there are many reasons behind it. First, even though the plan is same, internal furniture and other related things are different. Second, their horoscopes are different and third and most important is, they are at different levels of evolution and have different abilities to handle issues. You may like to also understand that you are not facing issues because of Vaastu but these are results of your past karma and you have all the choice to build your future by doing great karma today.
Even though people on different floors may have different effects of Vaastu, I personally have seen a pattern in many cases. In one building the door was at North West (Vayavya) and it was seen that most of the owners don’t live in the house. Those who were living, left the house for much better job opportunities in a while. Interestingly the timing of leaving the house was different and it was aligning with planetary combinations in their horoscope. I have also seen places where the building was of 4 floors and there was a peculiar Vaastu compliance issue in a particular apartment on each floor. We observed that people on almost all floors didn’t have a child. In this case the design was such that, an apartment was 100% Vaastu non- compliant!!! It would have been interesting to see horoscopes of people living on those houses.
I am not trying to scare you since such layouts are very rare in my experience. You may feel that, in today’s world, we don’t have much choice as we can only buy houses that are planned by some construction company and Vaastu may not be their priority.

I would guide to do basic Vaastu compliance checks before buying the house. For anything more you can always use various tricks while doing interior design and it works very well. In case you have any queries feel free to email me at my email gaurishb@gmail.com
